What's the difference between a pool enclosure and a screen enclosure?

A pool enclosure surrounds a swimming pool and its deck. "Screen enclosure" is the broader term and also covers patios, lanais and porches. We build both.

Can you build an enclosure around my existing pool?

Yes. We check your deck, footers and attachment points to your house, then design the enclosure to fit. If the slab needs new footers, we'll include that in your estimate.

Do I need a permit for a pool enclosure?

Yes. New pool enclosures in Brevard and Indian River County need a building permit. We handle the engineering and permitting for you.

Are pool enclosures built for hurricanes?

Every enclosure we build is engineered to Florida's wind-load requirements for your location. Still, no screen enclosure is hurricane-proof, and severe storms can damage screens or frames. Storm damage is usually an insurance matter, and our repair team can help.

Can I add a solid roof over part of the pool enclosure?

Yes. A hybrid design puts insulated roof panels over the patio or seating area and leaves the pool screened. You get shade and rain cover without losing the open-air feel.

Which screen is best for a Florida pool?

How long does a pool enclosure last?
